Sam Zeineddine 40 Under 40

Sam Zeineddine, Business Management Director for Midwest Maintenance, has been selected as a 2020 recipient of the Midlands Business Journal’s 19th annual 40 Under 40 Awards, honoring 40 Greater Omaha, Council Bluffs and Sarpy County entrepreneurs, executives and professionals under the age of 40. Zeineddine joins many prestigious winners of this Award over the years, including Midwest Maintenance’s Owner/CEO, Jamie Gutierrez. The Midlands Business Journal is the author and arbiter of the awards, and their judges seek out individuals who have made significant impacts within their organizations and their community.

In Zeineddine’s case, he has been a key figure and vital member of the Midwest Maintenance organization and greater Omaha business community since February of 2007. During this time, he liaised with Metropolitan Community College (MCC) in Omaha, NE, leading the development and implementation of the first and only Commercial Custodian Certificate (CCC) program in the Midwest. Further, Zeineddine implemented the Congratulate, Acknowledge, and Recognize Excellence or CARE program, providing recognition for team members, increasing employee engagement. He also was instrumental in the creation of the Midwest Essential Personnel Solutions (MEPS) 2020 division.

Zeineddine is a Registered Building Service Manager with Building Service Contractor International (BSCAI), Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) member, and is in the process of acquiring his SHRM-SCP certification. He is in the dissertation phase of his Doctorate, at Bellevue University, studying Human Capital Management.

Currently, Zeineddine represents Midwest Maintenance at various diversity and inclusion groups such as the Circle Group in Omaha and Commitment to Opportunity, Diversity, and Equality (CODE) to bring awareness and conversation about employee issues for our community. He also volunteers with the Internal Revenue Service, Salvation Army, and at the Al Hadi Islamic Center in Omaha.

Zeineddine, along with the other 39 honorees, will be featured in a special edition of the Midlands Business Journal on December 4th. An award ceremony is scheduled for Feb. 12, 2021.
